Help your team be productive.

Even now. Especially now.

When it comes to the productivity of your team, you don’t have to miss a beat - or the boat… even in this time of considerable disruption to business-as-usual.

It’s no secret that we’re in an especially turbulent time as we pioneer our way through the uncertainty and rapid-fire impact of a global pandemic. It’s clear that there will continue to be significant shifts in the way people work. What we’ve dubbed “The Future of Work” has arrived at our doorstep. Are you ready?

One of the casualties of this chaotic time can be your team’s productivity. It may show up as….

  • a lack of engagement;

  • poor motivation;

  • lack of direction;

  • increased procrastination;

  • excessive anxiety and stress, which hampers learning and performance;

  • unsustainable overworking (no downtime), which degrades mental acuity and emotional/social intelligence;

  • an inability to focus;

  • endless (inefficient) Zoom meetings;

  • curtailed collaboration and innovation;

  • poor communication;

  • lack of leadership;

  • and more . . .

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

In fact, if you play your cards right, today’s challenges hold the opportunity not only for productivity-as-usual, but for productivity better-than-usual.

Now that business-as-usual is upended, it’s the perfect time to reconsider what it takes to be productive. It’s a chance to let go of those tired, unproductive work habits that had become status quo and reset them with productive practices based on how humans actually perform at their best. It’s time to learn to work with our design, not against it.

Now’s the time to aid staff in strengthening their productivity muscle - and discovering what it really takes to be productive - so they’re equipped and ready to meet an unknown, changing future.

Below are a selection of programs that can help your team grow their productivity skills and accomplish what matters with greater ease and effectiveness. And the side benefit? They’ll experience greater agency and impact, and that will naturally boost their engagement and motivation.

An Introduction to Productivity Powers®

Live, virtual workshop

Being productive isn't about finding the right app or working 24/7. It's about building the muscles of productivity. It is about exercising your power to achieve your goals - every day.

An Introduction to the Productivity Powers® introduces participants to the meta-skills that boost productivity and effectiveness. Participants gain a deeper understanding of the levers of productivity, and their own power to strengthen their performance and effectiveness. This session is not an in-depth exploration, but rather an overview of the five skill sets of productivity (Productivity Powers®): Motivation, Mindset, Vitality, Method, Connection.

In the virtual session, participants learn about a selected aspect of each Productivity Power, and a related tactic to try out. Participants receive a simple assessment tool for assessing one’s “productivity fitness,” and a reference sheet for further study.

  • 90 minutes

Productivity Coaching

1:1 coaching engagement

Productivity Coaching gives professionals one-on-one, expert guidance and support to build their productivity muscle in a way that helps them have the impact they want.

Productivity Coaching is tailored to the specific needs and aspirations of the client, so they can move from where they are, to where they want to go. It is solution-focused and highly practical. It is about trying out tested techniques to achieve productivity goals - whether it is to decrease overwhelm, stress, distractedness, or time-wasters; or increase control, confidence, clarity, achievement, or leadership prowess.

The coaching draws upon techniques and approaches that are grounded in how our brains, bodies, and minds work best. It’s productivity by design - working with how humans perform optimally, rather than against it.

There are a variety of ways to engage in productivity coaching:

  • Target Coaching: This is a targeted engagement ideal for identifying strategies related to a specific (more narrow) topic, challenge, or goal.

    • Brief intake survey on the goals for coaching.

    • Two extended sessions (typically 90 minutes)

    • Summary email after each session

    • Access to e-coaching between sessions

  • Advance Coaching: This coaching is for those who want to make significant advances in their goals and aspirations - and their productivity “fitness.” It’s ideal for making a substantive shift and/or sustainable progress on goals, and for building skills and lasting habits.

    • Prep conversation to learn about the client’s goals.

    • Brief intake survey on the goals for coaching

    • 6 or 8 sessions (to be completed within 3 - 8 months)

    • Ongoing access between sessions through quick calls, e-mail, text, video chat, to address issues, decisions, and circumstances
